  Seat height adjustment

Controlled by the lever on the front right hand side of the chair. Lift the lever and the chair will rise or if sitting the chair will lower.

Back height adjustment

The back height is adjusted from the sitting position by gently lifting the back, which works on a ratchet mechanism. The back has 12 increases in height, each click of the ratchet representing a 5mm adjustment. Once you have reached the top height the back will reset to its lowest position.

Synchro-mechanism

The tension of the synchro mechanism is increased or decreased by the hand wheel situated underneath the seat. Turning clockwise will decrease the tension, required by the lighter individual, whilst turning anti-clockwise will increase the tension of the spring.

This will affect the amount of ‘give’ when the chair is in free float mode.

Locking the back in any one of five positions.

Controlled by a half turn of the lever on the front left hand side of the chair, the back of the chair can either be set in free floating mode or locked in one of five angles, depending on how much recline is required.

Lumbar support – single air cell

An air cell positioned in the lumbar region can be inflated via the pump found on the back left hand side of the chair. The air cell can be deflated by the valve situated next to the bulb.

Lumbar support – 3 air cells

The three air cells are simultaneously inflated via the pump as above, but are individually deflated via the three buttons situated on the inside right of the back of the chair.

Independent seat tilt

The seat should be locked in one of two positions. To tilt the seat forward, turn the lever on the back right hand side of the chair, which will unlock the mechanism. Lean forward to distribute weight to the front edge of the seat until you feel the seat tilt forwards. Then lock the mechanism with another half turn of the lever.

Arms – 4 way adjustable

  1. Height is adjusted via a ratchet mechanism. 7 different heights are achieved by lifting the arm a single ratchet at a time. Once you reach the top, the arm will reset to its lowest position.

  2. The arms can extend forward by depressing the button under the armrest and sliding the armrest forward.

  3. The arms can be turned inwards for keyboard use by simply twisting the arm rest inwards.

  4. The arms can be extended outwards away from the seat via the small hand wheel under the seat. Loosen the hand wheel, extend the arm outwards to the required position and retighten the hand wheel.

Seat slide (Optional)

Located underneath the seat on the front right hand side of the chair, press the button inwards, slide the seat forward and release the button when the seat is in the desired position.
