Anatomy of a chair

A great deal of thought goes into the design and construction of Posturemax Chairs. The diagram on the right indicates many of the distinctive features that make up the anatomy of these highly specified chairs.

Gas lift

Gas lift suitable for 150kg user weight; Posturemax 200 suitable for 200kg user weight. The whole chair is height adjustable using a shock absorbing gas lift.


Adjustability

The back and seat recline together in a fixed 2:1 ratio. The tension of the recline is adjusted by a rotating handwheel. The recline function can be left unlocked in dynamic freefloat mode. For added comfort the back angle is independently adjustable

Back height

The back height is adjustable for precise positioning of the lumbar support

Seat travel

The seat has 65mm of horizontal travel for correct support behind the knees
